Cleveland Hills Tour

A tremendous day out! Working around the borders of Cleveland and North Yorkshire, taking in some great greenlaning with all types of challenges from rock steps to forest trails with some quite challenging sections in parts. Be sure to ask Mark about the cold winters day we were researching this tour and Tony’s Discovery. Don’t worry if you forget, he likes to mention it anyway!

Your day will begin at 0930hrs in either Helmsley or Stokesley depending on which variance of the route we decide to run and once we deal with our admin we are off and running. We feel this is more of “jigsaw” tour as we have broken it down into distinct sections and have more than our usual level of  tarmac driving. Don’t let that put you off though as the tarmac sections are very much a means to an end. There are some very rewarding greenlanes on this run which return a great sense of satisfaction once driven.

We feel that this is more suitable for the heavier type of four wheel drive vehicles such as Defender, Land Cruiser and Shogun. Certainly a great run for drivers of all levels of experience but to be critical, if you’re new to the hobby we strongly recommend trying our Discover Greenlaning tour before this run.
