Fancy something a touch different? just a little bit off the wall and maybe a smidge more challenging? If so then read on…

Starting at 17:00hrs on the last day of British Summer Time, we set out to explore some of the best lanes in the area of the Co Durham, Cumbria, Northumberland and Upper Teesdale. We cross everything and do our best to get away onto the moors in the hope that we get clear skies for the night to make the scenery just that little bit more interesting. Even if the skies are cloudy its still a great tour as the challenge of driving through the night adds a whole new aspect to “off-tarmac” driving. We conclude just after midnight but being the end of BST and the clocks going back 1 hour it will only be 11:00pm by the time you wakeup on Sunday.

Due to its more “demanding” nature we have to insist that drivers with a good level of confidence and experience put their hands up for this one. Based on one of our Relaxed and Scenic route this is truly something different.
